I typically like to change out a few decor pieces in my home to reflect the current season or holiday. This summer, I've really been liking lemons and pops of yellow. I picked up a few new items recently that I styled in our main living spaces. The lemon theme turned out really cute and makes the house feel bright and summery. Here's how it all looks..
I've said it before, but changing out throw pillows really will make a huge difference to the overall look of your space. I found some great lemon themed pillows. Lemons must be pretty trendy right now, because I was actually surprised at how many pillows I found.

I had been looking for a small lemon tree to put on the sofa table, but I never found one that worked. Kirklands had a really nice (pricey) one, but it was too large for the space. I ended up finding some lemon branch stems at Joann Fabrics. I just put them in a glass bottle, and it gave the effect that I was going for.
On the buffet table, rather than adding another bottle of lemon branches, I opted for these yellow and white stems from Hobby Lobby. They compliment the theme without going overboard on the lemons.
Of course if you're going to have lemon themed decor, you're going to need a bowl of (faux) lemons. I had seen some really nice ones at Kirklands that had leaves on them, and I thought they looked nicer with a pop of green rather than just plain lemons. Unfortunately, they sold out, but I DIYed the look myself. I bought a bag of plain lemons from Michaels then pulled leaves off of some stems I had left over from a wreath I made. I was going to glue the leaves onto the lemons, but I actually ended up just placing the leaves in the bowl to make it look like they were attached to the fruit.
This circle garland/tiny wreath with lemons is from At Home. It's actually the piece I first saw and purchased that inspired the lemon theme. I was going to hang it on the wall as a tiny accent wreath, but I ended up using it for the dining table centerpiece.
Similarly to the buffet table, I arranged some yellow and white flowers (also from Hobby Lobby) in a mason jar vase to finish off the centerpiece.
Just like throw pillows, I love to change out dish towels to match different themes. These ones might just be the cutest ones I own.
