It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Last year, I posted my first Christmas blog posts. I shared how I decorated my Christmas tree & my Christmas home decor. Since last year, I've changed up my Christmas decor a bit. We not only have a new Christmas tree this year, but I went with a different color scheme for our ornaments & overall decor around the house. I am loving the decor so much this year, and I'm really excited to share it with you. Some of the pieces are newly purchased, so I will list where I got them. I will also try to list my older decor pieces, in case any of them (or similar products) are still available. Enjoy our Christmas home tour!
I'll begin with the front of our house. It's all decorated the same as last year, but I got a new wreath and mat that match the theme I chose for this year's decor.

Here is the inside of our house. I chose a hunter green & brown/gold theme this year. I wanted something natural & neutral, so I used a lot of woodsy & rustic pieces.

Now for some details about our new Christmas tree. I was lucky enough to get this tree on clearance after Christmas last year. Someone had returned it in January (claiming the lights didn't work), so I purchased it at an amazing discount, and when I brought it home, the lights all worked perfect. I've never had a flocked tree before, and I have to admit that it was very messy, but I'm in love with the way it looks.

I decided back in January that I wanted to do a neutral theme on the flocked tree (browns, taupes, golds), so I got some bulbs on clearance, too.
After setting everything up for this year, I decided to add some green bulbs to the tree to tie in the green from the livnig and dining room. I used buffalo snow as my tree skirt to finish off the tree.
Here's what it all looks like at night. I absolutely love the cozy lighting throughout the livingroom.
Thanks so much for reading. I hope you enjoyed my 2018 Christmas decor home tour.
Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to everyone!
